InterX works differently.
When the InterX electrodes are applied to the skin, the body becomes part of the electrical circuit. The device continuously measures changes in skin impedance and automatically adjusts its output in response. As the body's response changes, so does the stimulation.

Rather than delivering a fixed output, the waveform continuously adapts as the body's electrical state changes throughout treatment.
Electrode configuration
Closely spaced, highly conductive electrodes concentrate stimulation precisely where it is needed while making the skin part of the electrical circuit.
Continuous impedance feedback
As stimulation changes the skin's impedance, the device immediately detects those changes and adjusts its output. This continuous feedback loop is what makes InterX interactive.
Why InterX® is so effective
The InterX device identifies and treats the areas that are showing low impedance. These are areas of skin where nerve endings are displaying a response to injury or pain. The stimulation is delivered exactly where the body needs it.
Bio-Adaptive Neurostimulation
The high amplitude, short pulse width, dynamic waveform elicits a greater response from the body than other electrical stimulation. The InterX has closely spaced electrodes which means the current is very high density, very specific and not restricted by muscle contraction. The waveform changes constantly as the body responds to the stimulation and pain relief. This stops the body accommodating to the stimulation making it more effective. It also means that there is no need to use messy conductive gels, just applying water will enhance treatment.
Treatment time that matches the need
The time needed for treatment can vary but averages approx. 15 minutes. Very short treatments can be used on the sidelines of a sports game taking only a few minutes. When treating more difficult chronic conditions, the session may last up to 30 minutes as there is a larger area of the body to scan when incorporating neurologically related areas.
